Tamiya Buggy Champ part 13

Just uploaded the latest video instalment of the Viper champ.

In case you may not know this the Viper Champ is a VINTAGE Tamiya Buggy champ with a custom body setup. The body was made to look like a Viper fighter ship from a show called Battlestar Galactica.  Click the images for a larger view.
This is a Viper

The shocks were provided by +AsiaTees Hobbies. The Chassis was made by yours truly and the steering crank is also from  +AsiaTees Hobbies . If you want to know how the body was done watch this video playlist.

USA-1 Custom chassis part 7

Like the title says.. Part 7 of  my custom chassis. In this video I assemble the Chassis/gearboxes. and it looks FRACKING awesome.

In case you don't know it yet I am sponsored by http://AsiaTees.com and the BADASS Savox High Torque Titanium geared Servos are some of the highest rated torque servos out there for 1/10 scale RC's. +AsiaTees Hobbies has been Crucial in supplying parts for this build as well as the Tamiya Buggy (Viper) Champ and the 200 member give-away Tamiya Sonic Fighter on our Facebook page. You can see the Buggy champ playlist here as well as the full USA-1 Playlist here if you like following the progression of an RC build.

There is also a custom truck I built up using a 1/16 scale Traxxas Summit prior to Asiatees' involvement with "theLEDwheel" channel. The chassis was stretched  in order to accommodate a 1/8 scale body and let me tell you. It still is fast and this mod greatly increases its stability. have a look at it here if your interested.

Well thats it for now...

Do something fun today

This past weekend I attempted to create a new version of my LED wheel. In my opinion it is not a failure in that it was a successful build, however I do not consider it to be  even remotely close to the visuals of my last LED Wheel. Have  look and judge for yourself. http://youtu.be/mzEkk9vPwuU . As I wrote this the video is not fully uploaded yet….

Steph

Well hello,

Here is yet another blog for you people to read and possibly comment on.

This is a summary of how I got here. A few years ago I created a youtube account and started uploading some videos, On elf those videos was a tutorial about making an LED wheel.  In case you have no clues as to what and LED Wheel might be, have a look at this.

Now I had uploaded a few videos prior to this one however this is the one that got noticed because of the view count. At about 1000 views I received an email from YouTube asking me if I wanted to "Monetize" my video. Well DUH! Who wouldn't? then I kind of forgot about the whole Monetization thing for a bit until I got a message saying I needed to setup my payment preferences in order to get paid and that I had approximately $100 ready to be paid out. ANd that is when I got hooked and decided it was time to make  RC videos for YouTube.

At the time this post is being written I have about 820 Subscribers and well over 500,000 views. Now this is nothing in comparison to the YouTube Gurus like DJMedic which also creates RC Adventures and does this full time earning a great amount of $. This is the plan for "theLEDwheel" Channel. So if you love RC cars and Custom work please stop by http://youtube.com/theledwheel and/or the Facebook page of the same name https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheLEDWheel2.0/

Current Projects are a Kyosho USA-1 and a Tamiya Buggy Champ. Both of which are getting a SERIOUS makeover…

Keep your batteries charged
